Positive: From start to end of our 11 day stay with Maryvonne and Georges we were made to feel like royalty and as part of the family. Their hospitality and attention to detail was something we have not experienced before when self catering….. this was more like a 5 star hotel experience!! From being picked up from the airport by Maryvonne and Georges to arriving at their beautiful apartment with a coconut fresh drink awaiting. After arriving Maryvonne drove us to show where local shops, bars, restaurants where in Beau Vallon and a short cut walk to the beach. Nimashi and Layandro are the best staff at accommodating to your every need. Always there to help with constant enthusiasm and smiles at ensuring your stay is one of comfort. We were invited to weekly home cooked creole buffets. All prepared by Maryvonne and Georges to eat together with themselves and fellow guests. Maryvonne also catered for vegetarians. Amazing delicious food which you would find extremely difficult to match in any restaurant!! The apartment is in a great location. Amazing sea view with large balcony overlooking the pool. Everything needed should you want to stay in and cook. Slept like a baby in large king size bed. Very quiet apartment and surrounding area. From initial booking Maryvonne kept in regular contact. She arranged to come with us and other guest to The Anse Major Trial. Advised by Maryvonne of places of interest and she arranged boat trips for us. Perfect hosts who are generous with their time. Offered to take and drop us off in the evenings. Clear to see their priority is ensuring you have the best comfortable stay and experience in their beloved apartment and this is what you will have staying with Maryvonne and Georges. Positive: Absolutely adorable place to stay in and spend your holidays. Photos are very realistic. Incredible vies from the balcony to the sea, you can see and hear the sunrises and sunsets. Very nice pool area. The staff was helping us on daily basis. Every good start package in the room when we arrived. Kitchen facilities are very functional. Air coil diction only in the bedroom, but there were lot of ventilators elsewhere. So it was nice. Very comfy bed. The owners are very helpful and they even cooked us a delicious local dinner during our stay. Very peaceful place on a hill, but still close to the sea and grocery stores. Parking place in the yard! Mary one and George’s are really taking the stay into next level and giving lot of ideas what to see and where to go!
Negative: We liked all. Be prepared to have a car during your stay if you want to go around the island!

Positive: We had the most amazing stay at D’Offay Sea view apartments. As we were celebrating a special event, we were given what I believe was a perfect room with a very big balcony and a lovely bottle of Prosecco upon arrival which was a very nice surprise! The hosts were so kind and drove us around the village when we first arrived so that we could see the best places to explore and spend our week. She even dropped us off into the village a few times in the evenings. The best part was the traditional food that they cooked which was our favourite meal of the holiday. We loved our stay and will be returning 😊😊

The private pool was the cherry on top! Upon check-in, they gave me a full tour of the room, explaining every little feature—such a nice touch! Starter Grocery Pack: I’ve never seen this anywhere else—they provided a starter set of groceries (water, eggs, bread, butter, basics). SO thoughtful, especially for tired travelers! 🙌 Island Tour & Next-Level Hospitality: The hosts, Maryvonne and George, went above and beyond. They organized an island tour for me and were so understanding when my card didn’t work at check-in. Their kindness made all the difference! 🤗 Birthday Dinner by Chef George: The highlight? A special birthday dinner prepared by George, featuring delicious local dishes. Every bite was perfection! If you get a chance, try his cooking—you won’t regret it! Positive: I have travelled for more than 30 years, but I have never before experienced the hospitality we got from Georges, Maryvonne and Nimashi at D'Offay Seaview Apartments. They helped us with everything when needed, and made us feel like home. When we arrived from Praslin, Georges picked us up at the pier, and took us back to the house where a big barbecue dinner was waiting for us. Next day Maryvonne took us for a guidet tour of Beau Vallon and showed us where everything was. She gave us a phone with local SIM card and said we could call her whenever we needed asistance. The 3rd day they took us to a wonderfull creol restaurant and we tasted everything on the menu. On our last day we had a fligh late in the evening, but they gave us an apartment on the 1st floor, where we could stay untill they drove us to the airport. The standard of the appartment is like a 5 star resort. It is spacius, nicely decorated, has a big comfortable bed and a nice balcony with a great view overlooking the bay. The kitchen got everything we needed. When we arrived food for breakfast was in the refrigerator and a basket of fruits was on the table. The guesthouse is newly built and everything is up to date, very clean and has WIFI in all rooms. It is located in a walking distance from Beau Vallon beach, restaurants and shops.
Negative: Only wished we could have stayed longer

Positive: The place is absolutely amazing; the apartments are first-class in every aspect.Modern,spacious, clean with fantastic, unique view of Beau Vallon and hosted by Maryvonne and her husband George. To say they are the best and most generous, fantastic that we have ever come across is massive understatement. From contacting us following our initial booking, to meeting us at the ferry giving us a really useful familiarisation tour of Beau Vallon and the immediate area to totally looking after us during our 9th night stay. This included providing mobile phone with local sim card already in it picking us up on numerous occasions when we are to the shop or after evning out in Beau Vallon, taking us out for a truly memorable and amazing Creole meal at a superb and traditional local restaurant and not forgetting George's amazing cooking abilitie which we experienced first hand when they hosted us and some other guests for a meal of prawns and locally caught fish absolutely delicious. George and Maryvonne also treated us to a full day tour of Mahe during which he provided us with an unrivalled commentary on various locations. I genuinely cannot think of anything that they could have done more to help make our stay unique. I can't conclude this review without recognising the other two members of the apartments team-Nimashi and Layandro whose attentiveness and smilies during our stay will not be forgotten and definitely we are coming back!

Positive: Everything very clean, with good kitchen facilities. Very friendly and helpful owners who even took me out for dinner one night. Maryvon also showed me the local area for restaurants and parking at the beach which was great as it was a good orientation.
Negative: Was quite a long way from the beach - all uphill so glad I had hired a car.

Positive: These were hosts like we have never experienced before. As soon as we arrived Maryvonne took us in her car to Beau Vallon to show us where the restaurants/parking/atms/supermarkets were. Her husband picked us up a Chinese takeout on the way home from work for us as we were tired and preferred to stay in on our first night after the long journey. The fridge was stocked with essentials, and Maryvonne gave us more papaya/avocado. They took us out for a typical Creole meal, and cooked grilled fish for us in the ground floor of the beautiful home where they live. The apartment itself was amazing with fabulous views and a pool, looked after by a lovely young couple from Sri Lanka. You do need a car, but hire car in the Seychelles is very cheap!! There was nothing we would have wanted in addition to what was provided, and the bed was super comfy!! Please come and stay here - it’s wonderful!!
Negative: Absolutely nothing - it was more than we expected and the hosts were amazing and treated us like family.

Positive: We highly recomend Dóffey Seaview apartement for a relaxed and enjoyable stay in the Beau Vallon area in Mahé Seychelles. The apartment is spacious and has high standard. The bed is comfortable and the view from the balcony overlooking the bay is spectacular. The host Maryvonne, and her staf, are very nice and helpful ande easy to get in touch with if needed. The first day she took us out to show us where everything was in the area. The second day we got invited to dinner by Maryvonne and her husband George. They even cooked for us and the other guest at Christmas eve, altough it is a selfservice apartment! Such a nice gesture. They totally spoiled us and we would be happy to come back one day.
